About the role

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll be at the heart of our Warehouse team, leading, managing and motivating a great team to make sure the day-to-day Warehousing and Despatch operation runs smoothly.  

What you'll do

Leading and working alongside a small, close-knit team, as a Team Leader you'll make sure that all orders are filled on time and accurately in line with Food Safety, Health and Safety and legal compliance. You will be responsible for a specific department and the team of colleagues, making sure that the team and individual targets are achieved, all while the site processes and policies are followed. Positive and enthusiastic, you'll engage with your team and be on hand to provide direction and support, whilst making sure the team are working effectively.

About you

  • You’ve had some experience of leading a team and love playing an active part in the success of your workmates 

  • You’ve ideally had experience of working within a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment within the food industry 

  • You’re happy talking to a variety of people from different backgrounds and you can discuss your teams results with the Warehouse Manager as naturally as having a chat with your colleagues on the floor 

  • You’re good at planning and organising your own work and time, as well as your teams, to make sure targets are met 

  • You have a good level of numeracy and literacy and you’re able to follow specific processes and procedures 

  • You know what you’re talking about when it comes to using Microsoft Word and Excel and you’ve ideally had experience working with SAP systems
