About the role

  • This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • This role is hybrid with the majority of time home based with the occasional visit to Q9, Newcastle Upon Tyne

What you'll do

As Logistics Administrator you’ll be:

  • Analysing data against KPI's. escalating concerns and/or anomalies as appropriate.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure agreed processes and procedures are embedded.
  • Maintaining database(s) ensuring data is accurate whilst monitoring compliance with internal and external policies/laws.
  • To create and produce reports from several information systems to provide high quality, accurate and timely information to assist decision making.
  • Act as the administrative link for driver training whilst taking responsibility for tracking compliance.
  • Accountable for undertaking driver licence checks to ensure employee and organisation compliance with laws.
  • Lead independent internal data analyst processes with the support of the Logistic Performance Analyst (i.e. Logistics Operator of the year)
  • Attend and contribute to cross site meetings with the occasional requirement to present report findings/outcomes.
  • To provide/communicate concise, accurate information from data analysis, which will aid decision making within the logistics function.
  • Actively contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives as part of the Greggs ethos to always strive for excellence.
  • Evidence commitment to self-development, undertaking professional development training as required.

About you

You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:

  • Advanced IT skills with Office 365 and Power BI.
  • High levels of accuracy and proof-reading ability with attention to detail
  • Ability to identify areas of concern regarding data quality, accuracy or compliance and take the appropriate action.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organising skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presenting data reports to both internal and external stakeholders whilst using persuasion.
  • Assertive with ability to manage internal and external contacts with diplomacy and escalate appropriately.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to self-manage whilst also working as part of a team.
  • Innovative and adaptable to change.
  • Some knowledge of the Transport Industry would be advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
