About the role

  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is Newcastle upon Tyne. Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with Greggs stakeholders, developers and 3rd party systems integrators to gain full understanding of the requirements to be delivered.
  • Utilise existing testing tools for integration and full end to end testing
  • As part of the scrum team give test estimates for scoping, planning and execution of tests
  • Create and execute test scripts including running full regression tests and sharing results and risks with key stakeholders.
  • Log issues within our defect tracking system and ensure collaboration with the team to resolution
  • Support the testing function to improve our processes and procedures

About you

You will fit right into this role if you are:

  • Experienced in testing fundamentals including planning, scoping and building out test packs
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman
  • Experience with Cloud solutions like MS Azure Services
  • Experience in mobile and web site testing
  • Experience/knowledge of automation testing and the ability to set up automated mobile/ API tests to support continuous integration/delivery
  • Knowledge\Awareness of flutter (UI Software development kit) 
  • Knowledge \Awareness of SAP solutions within the retail sector but not essential
  • A strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels
  • Have proven high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace
  • Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems
