Our brand-new National Distribution Centre at Symmetry Park, Kettering is at the heart of a major transformation for Greggs. As we introduce new ways of working, increased automation, and modernised logistics processes, we’re building a team ready to deliver outstanding service from day one.

We’re looking for a passionate and driven colleague to join us as Warehouse Automation Supervisor — someone who can help set high standards, build strong teams, and play a key role in establishing a high‑performing, future‑ready operation.

As a Warehouse Automation Supervisor, you will initially support the project and set up phase before leading the warehouse team on shift and ensure that daily operations run safely, accurately, and efficiently.

This role will start on day shift initially but will move to a 3 shift pattern of days, backs and nights.

Working in a food environment means that you may be exposed to flour and dust. You will also be expected to work in a chilled/frozen environment.

About you 

Ideally, you'll have previously worked as a supervisor in a similar environment. You'll also need:

  • A good knowledge and experience as a supervisor/team leader in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment
  • Involvement in project work and experience of automation or semi-automated warehouse processes would be beneficial but not essential 
  • Experience in managing, developing and motivating teams
  • Be supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good
Experience of Microsoft IT packages and SAP systems would also be beneficial but isn't essential.
